She graduated from KU Leuven, Belgium with a master degree in Food Science, technology and nutrition which is an Erasmus Mundus programme. To pursue this degree she were to attend four well ranked universities in four different countries namely Belgium, Ireland, Germany and Portugal. She has worked as research intern at “Scientia Terrae” which is one of the renowned research institute of Belgium. She worked on DNA recombinant technology for one year and on food safety for half a year over there. She also had her master and bachelor degree in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Rajshahi at home. She has taught human nutrition at Daffodil International University, Dhaka and MRF Nursing Institute, Joypurhat. She worked for a health related training project of DFID at PKSF. She has been also active in blogging on ongoing problems and concerns with regard to food safety, nutrition and environmental issues.
