Syed Mohammed Zakaria Faruq was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He qualified in Bachelor of Physical Therapy (BPT) under Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka in 2006 with excellent marks. In 2012 he passed Master of Physicaltherapy (MPT) in advanced PT in Neurology from first batch under faculty of postgraduate Studies, Gono Bishyavidyalaya,Bangladesh. He is a Trustee member of Bangladesh Stroke Association(BSA) a member organization of World Stroke Organization(WSO) . He has number of publications in International Open Access peer reviewed index journals and also editorial board member of journal of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation .He is Organizing secretary of Bangladesh Physical Therapy Association(BPA).  Previously he worked as a teacher at Bangladesh Institute of Geriatric Medicine.His present interest is Public Health Nutrition.
